Boxed In - A Comic Package of Warehouse Life
A warehouse. Two workers. Boxes. Lots of boxes.

BOXED IN is Clown Theatre, hilarious and moving in its celebration of dreams over drudgery.
Imagine Buster Keaton directing Laurel & Hardy. Add a dash of the absurd, Flying Saucers and boxes. Lots and lots of boxes!

BOXED IN tells the story of a warehouse, two workers and their obsessions.

Outside, economic catastrophe looms– young people can’t find work, food prices rocket, the old see their pensions plummet.

Inside, oblivious, they squabble over who should make the tea.

Their daily routine of checking and moving boxes is stifling and meaningless. Their attempts to liven it up become increasingly ridiculous and desperate.
Their warehouse world has grotesque echoes of Kafka whilst the two workers are reminiscent of Laurel and Hardy with a dash of Samuel Becket.

Dumbfounded when their warehouse world falls apart, they find themselves in a bleak wasteland where they confront, with comic precision, the meaning of life!
