Street Theatre
STATIC STREET THEATRE

MEAN STREETS.... A major new piece of outdoor theatre for 2010.
.....Previewing as work–in–progress, summer 2009.
MEAN STREETS - a static street show - will be a clowning, playful, visual
celebration of thrillers and murder mysteries.
The show begins with the discovery of a body. Everyone is a suspect.
Who had the strongest motive?
Who last saw the victim alive?
Who has most to gain from his death?
A plot unfolds riddled with twists and turns pushed as far
as they can go, with enough red herrings to confuse and stun
the most die-hard Bogart fan.
WALKABOUT STREET THEATRE

Shifting Sands combines clowning with the techniques of walkabout street theatre, using easily recognisable characters that interact spontaneously and playfully with the crowds. We enliven and animate any event be it a large street festival or small community event. No special performing facilities are required.. We improvise with the situations that we find, bringing playful surprises to the public.
We have performed nationally at many festivals and community events including the Derbyshire Literary Festival, Nottingham’s Riverside Festival, Abergavenny Food Festival and the Lincoln Street Theatre Festival,
